Head of Cyber Security

About the role

The State Medicines Control Service is looking for a Head of Cyber Security to lead the development and implementation of its cyber security strategy. You will ensure the reliability of the medicines control system while fostering a strong cyber‑hygiene culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and update cyber security policies, track related legal acts and documents, and draft necessary legislation.
• Plan, organise, coordinate and control the implementation of cyber security policies within the agency.
• Promote a cyber‑hygiene culture and advise senior management on improvements.
• Conduct compliance assessments, risk assessments and security audits.
• Prepare and submit risk assessment and risk‑management plans for approval.
• Manage cyber security risks, apply mitigation measures and oversee remediation of non‑conformities.

Required profile

• University degree (bachelor’s level) or higher.
• Formal qualification in cyber security (university diploma, internationally recognised certificate, or training and exam approved by the National Cyber Security Center).
• At least one year of professional experience in cyber security.
• English language proficiency at B1 level or higher.
