Head of Data

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Data to lead the next stage of data transformation across a growing multi‑brand group. The business has grown significantly, and we now need to move from fragmented reporting and locally built solutions towards a trusted, scalable data function and single source of truth.

Key responsibilities

• Own data architecture & infrastructure, ensuring a scalable foundation as the business grows.
• Consolidate data into a single source of truth across e‑commerce, subscription, marketing, CRM, finance and operations.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, dbt and modern cloud warehouses.
• Establish data quality, governance, ownership and standards.
• Build executive and departmental reporting dashboards for clear performance visibility.
• Lead marketing analytics to improve attribution, acquisition efficiency, CAC/LTV and forecasting.
• Drive customer and subscription analytics for retention, churn and lifetime‑value insights.
• Define product metrics, support experimentation and enhance A/B testing capabilities.
• Provide commercial analytics for pricing, revenue optimisation and forecasting.
• Manage stakeholder requests across Marketing, Product, Finance and Operations, prioritising work effectively.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, BI or a related field, with proven ownership of a data function or team.
• Hands‑on experience designing data architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple sources, using dbt.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Proficiency with BI and visualization tools like Lightdash, Looker, Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with e‑commerce and marketing platforms (Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, CRM systems) and product analytics.
