Head of Risk & Fraud

About the role

The Head of Risk & Fraud owns the line between trust and loss for Eneba’s marketplace, setting fraud strategy across all products and leading a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the fraud P&L, including payout, chargeback, approval and false‑positive rates, and explain all movements.
• Build and develop a strong second line of leadership within the team.
• Define and execute the fraud‑reduction roadmap, deciding what to build versus buy.
• Manage commercial relationships with fraud‑prevention partners, including RFPs, negotiations and SLAs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal to embed fraud risk into new features from the start.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, PSP and KYC obligations across markets.
• Serve as the top escalation point for complex risk decisions and represent Risk & Fraud in leadership forums.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in fraud, risk or financial crime in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Proven track record of owning end‑to‑end fraud outcomes and improving key metrics.
• Experience negotiating with partners, managing budgets and SLAs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose metric gaps without waiting for analysts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build an independent function.
• Familiarity with digital marketplaces, e‑commerce, payments or gaming fraud patterns.
• Comfort operating against regulatory, PSP and KYC requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English for international communication.
