HR Generalist – Klaipėda

About the role

HAWE Hydraulik is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead local HR activities in Klaipėda, Lithuania. You will work closely with both local and global HR teams to ensure that HR processes are aligned with corporate standards while meeting Lithuanian legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Localise and implement global HR policies.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including employee data and documentation.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and maintain accurate HR records.
• Ensure compliance with Lithuanian labour legislation.
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external payroll and HR service providers.
• Collaborate with local and global HR contacts to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational HR, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Lithuanian.
• Solid knowledge of Lithuanian labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, developing environment.
