Infrastructure Engineer (Junior)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to manage day‑to‑day infrastructure operations, support hardware and software assets, and grow their programming and automation skills in a dynamic, AI‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full inventory of hardware and software, including supplier management, warranties, assets, MDM, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support on‑site and remotely to the team.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions for joiners, movers and leavers.
• Monitor and maintain office networks, firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi and VPN.
• Apply security basics such as MFA, patching, endpoint protection, least‑privilege access and backups.
• Set up monitoring and alerting, respond to incidents and improve IT processes.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them with scripts and tools.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on IT administration or support experience.
• Understanding of a secure, well‑run mid‑sized office (devices, network, accounts, access).
• Awareness of security frameworks or standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, CIS).
• Interest in programming and automation, comfortable with code.
• Good spoken and written English and an analytical problem‑solving approach.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration.
• Wi‑Fi and firewall management (Ubiquiti UniFi is a plus).
• Windows and/or macOS administration.
• Python (ideal) and TypeScript (welcome).
• Scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Basic Git usage.
