Integration Architect – Public Sector Digital Solutions

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to design and deliver modern digital systems for public‑sector clients in Lithuania. You will shape end‑to‑end integration strategies, build scalable services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet critical business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate solutions that meet functional, performance, security and compliance requirements while aligning with business objectives and technology strategy.
• Create architectural diagrams, data‑flow models and integration patterns such as ESB, microservices and event‑driven architectures.
• Document solutions, SOWs and project plans, and act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Write clean, testable Java code or integration‑flow scripts, implement APIs, connectors and transformation pipelines.
• Maintain integration best practices, enforce coding standards, conduct peer reviews and manage versioning and releases.
• Partner with system owners, project managers and data architects to translate business requirements into technical designs and user stories.
• Monitor service health, implement alerting, disaster‑recovery procedures and conduct post‑incident analyses.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing system integrations (ESB, API gateways) and a solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Lithuanian and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including sizing and costing of integration solutions.

• Java development, SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL), Docker, Kubernetes.
• REST, SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, JWT.
• Enterprise Architecture tools (UML, Enterprise Architect).
• Data formats and standards: XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL.
• Messaging and streaming: JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and object storage (AWS S3).
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI, Jenkins) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Knowledge of GDPR and integration security best practices.
