Internal Medical Translator - English to Korean

About the role

The Internal Medical Translator will provide high‑quality English‑to‑Korean translations for life‑sciences documents, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance. Working remotely within the EMEA region, you will support IQVIA’s translation services for clinical trial and pharmaceutical content.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit life‑sciences materials, maintaining the original structure, style, and factual integrity.
• Research and apply industry‑specific terminology, using glossaries, translation memories, and style guides.
• Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
• Collaborate with the IQVIA Translations Services team to update internal assets and identify gaps in instructions or external issues.
• Deliver translations on time while adhering to quality commitments.

Required profile

• Native Korean speaker with fluent English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life‑sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
• University degree in translation or linguistics (or equivalent experience of at least 5 years without a degree).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Translation Memory (TM) tools.
• Glossary and terminology management.
• Proofreading and quality‑assurance techniques.
• Strong research skills for life‑sciences terminology.
