About the role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to ensure reliable and continuous operation of automated production equipment and lines. The role involves troubleshooting recurring faults, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting the implementation of modernization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of automated production equipment and lines.
• Analyze recurring failures, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions.
• Organise and control scheduled and periodic technical maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate the electricians' team, delegate tasks, and provide technical assistance for complex faults.
• Guarantee smooth information transfer between shifts.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Participate in equipment modernization and new technical projects.

Required profile

• Higher education in automation or electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in automation, electrical equipment maintenance, or manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to read electrical and automation schematics.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in English for technical documentation and supplier communication.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• HMI development and operation.
• Knowledge of frequency converters and other automation components.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
