About the role

ILTE, Lithuania's national development bank, is looking for an IT Solutions Architect to drive its digital transformation. You will design and implement architectural and integration solutions for new systems, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall IT strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectural and integration solutions for new ILTE systems, covering API management, integration and data exchange.
• Design the architecture of independently developed IT solutions and tools, aligning them with corporate IT strategy and architecture principles.
• Participate in procurement processes, evaluate vendor solutions and architectural alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Contribute to the creation of a centralized integration platform and modernize existing integrations.
• Prepare architectural diagrams, data‑flow models and integration templates (ESB, micro‑services, event‑driven).
• Establish integration and API standards and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT teams and contractors to ensure solutions follow the overall architectural direction.
• Guarantee that solutions meet security, risk‑management and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, system integration or software engineering.
• Proven experience designing integration solutions (ESB, API Gateway, messaging).
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, API security (OAuth2, JWT) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Ability to evaluate technology alternatives and make architectural decisions at both solution and organization level.
• Experience working with emerging architectures, creating standards from scratch and handling uncertainty.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
