Junior IT Procurement Specialist – Streaming Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, curious, and detail‑oriented Junior IT Procurement Manager to join our Streaming infrastructure team. Working alongside an experienced lead, you will play a hands‑on role in sourcing, acquiring, and managing the critical hardware, network, and cloud assets that power our high‑scale streaming platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end procurement cycle – gather internal requirements, draft and process purchase orders, track supplier deliveries, and verify incoming assets.
• Facilitate the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of IT infrastructure assets, including servers, network equipment, IP resources (IPv4/IPv6), and related services.
• Maintain relationships with international hardware vendors and service providers, assist with basic terms negotiation, and keep contract documentation up to date.
• Help track hardware lifecycle, server allocations, and network resource utilization across data centres.
• Partner with internal tech, DevOps, and finance teams to forecast needs, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and ensure smooth operational workflows.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of core IT hardware and network components (servers, networking gear, IP addresses, monitoring tools).
• Ability to understand technical specifications, assess hardware/software requirements, and ask the right technical questions.
• Comfortable working with numbers, evaluating supplier proposals, and finding cost‑efficient options.
• High attention to detail, strong time‑management skills, and the ability to track multiple orders simultaneously.
• Proactive self‑starter attitude, eagerness to learn, adaptability, and high personal accountability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of core IT hardware and networking components (servers, switches, routers, IP address management).
• Familiarity with data centre operations and hosting environments.
