Lead Quality Auditor

About the role

The Lead Quality Auditor will own the end‑to‑end execution of CMP tests, from scoping through to closure, ensuring compliance with AML and broader regulatory obligations. The role combines analytical rigor with the use of AI tooling while maintaining independent judgement over outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, design and execute CMP tests, documenting test records, regulations registers and sample designs.
• Gather and validate evidence from first‑line teams, track outstanding items and manage service‑level expectations.
• Test control design and implementation effectiveness across AML and related regulatory controls using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Draft findings, apply the Findings Severity Matrix, maintain the CMP Findings Tracker and associated Jira issues.
• Present preliminary findings to first‑line teams, manage contested points and track management action plans to closure.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in compliance monitoring, audit, QA or CFT/AML.
• Working knowledge of AML systems, broader regulatory obligations (conduct of business, consumer protection, data protection) and ability to interpret regulatory text.
• Experience incorporating AI tooling to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to handle structured and unstructured data while maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑based tooling for compliance tasks.
• Experience using AML systems and controls.
• Familiarity with risk‑based sampling and audit procedures.
• Hands‑on use of Jira for workflow and findings tracking.

• Annual salary range €32,000‑€53,000.
