Marketing Legal Counsel

About the role

Nord Security is seeking a Marketing Legal Counsel to act as a strategic partner for its Marketing, Product and business teams. The role blends legal expertise with commercial judgment to help the company launch products and campaigns across multiple markets while managing legal and reputational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on marketing, advertising and consumer protection matters across various jurisdictions.
• Support advertorial campaigns, promotions, partnerships, website content, Terms of Service and other customer‑facing materials.
• Guide consumer‑facing journeys, including pricing, subscriptions, auto‑renewals and mandatory disclosures.
• Develop and maintain legal frameworks, playbooks and guidelines for recurring marketing and consumer law issues.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable recommendations for the business.
• Identify opportunities for automation and create scalable self‑service guidance.
• Collaborate with internal lawyers, Marketing, Product and other stakeholders to deliver business‑focused advice.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent).
• 4+ years of experience in consumer, advertising or marketing law, in‑house, private practice or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of consumer and marketing law applicable across multiple jurisdictions.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to give clear, practical advice.
• Systems‑thinking approach and ability to design scalable processes.
