Master Data Analyst, Financial

About the role

As a Master Data Analyst – Finance you will ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial master data across global ERP systems. You will support reliable reporting and decision‑making by maintaining high‑quality data and collaborating with finance, controlling and data teams in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain completeness, accuracy and consistency of financial master data such as Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers and Profit Centers.
• Support creation, maintenance and validation of data in ERP systems, primarily SAP S/4HANA.
• Apply data‑profiling techniques and drive data‑quality improvement initiatives.
• Analyse financial data structures and provide insights to finance and controlling stakeholders.
• Support reporting, dashboard creation, data migration and data‑cleansing activities.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Controlling, Global Process Owners and Master Data teams.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with a structured working approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a quantitative field.
• Experience as a Data Analyst or Master Data Analyst within finance or controlling.
• Knowledge of financial master data domains such as Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers and Business Partners.
• Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
