Mid-level QA Engineer – RegTech Product Testing

About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer (mid‑level) to join our engineering team and ensure our RegTech products work as intended before reaching production. You will explore systems, uncover bugs and edge cases, and collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, secure releases.

Key responsibilities

• Test iDenfy's RegTech products across backend, APIs, and frontend using manual and automated methods.
• Hunt for bugs by exploring edge cases, challenging system behaviour, and identifying weaknesses.
• Plan and execute API testing with tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Insomnia, and perform frontend UI testing.
• Use AI tools to generate test scenarios, improve coverage and efficiency.
• Work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers and the product team throughout the development cycle.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and verify bugs and fixes, including regression testing.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in QA, including backend and API testing.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing, with interest in expanding automation skills.
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, authentication methods, and Git.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Insomnia.
• Willingness to use AI tools as part of the testing workflow.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
• Experience in RegTech, FinTech, KYC, AML, or other regulated industries is a big plus.
• Experience with Python and/or Cypress is a big plus.
