.NET Application Architect

About the role

Telia is strengthening its architecture and delivery capabilities for order, logistics, device support and product planning applications. As a .NET Application Architect you will lead requirement gathering, solution design and technical road‑mapping for business‑critical .NET/ASP.NET systems across several Telia markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders, product owners and vendors to clarify requirements and translate them into solution designs and backlogs.
• Own and develop technical roadmaps covering performance, maintainability, security, compliance and modernization.
• Guide development teams and suppliers in delivering enhancements for complex integration scenarios such as order flows, inventory, ERP and partner integrations.
• Support DevOps practices, ensuring quality, traceability, release readiness and smooth hand‑over to operations.
• Participate in incident, problem and root‑cause analysis where architectural expertise is required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in .NET/.NET Framework or ASP.NET development, including lead or technical‑lead roles.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing or modernising integration‑heavy business applications in domains such as order management, logistics or ERP.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technical choices to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
