Occupational Safety and Health Specialist

About the role

The Republic of Vilnius Psychiatric Hospital is seeking an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for more than 600 staff members while supporting the hospital’s mission of high‑quality mental health care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop internal regulations related to occupational safety and health.
• Monitor compliance with safety and health legislation throughout the hospital.
• Conduct investigations of workplace accidents and incidents.
• Provide safety orientation and training for newly hired employees.

Required profile

• Higher education (university degree or equivalent) or higher vocational education with a professional bachelor’s qualification.
• Certification as an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist.
• Responsible, service‑oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Strong analytical abilities, systematic thinking, and planning skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and modern office technologies.
