About the role

We are looking for a new team member – a Shift Automation Technician – to ensure smooth operation of equipment in the largest animal feed factory in the Baltic and Scandinavian region. The role offers continuous learning, problem‑solving and the chance to contribute to a Smart Factory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, adjust and repair electrical equipment of production lines.
• Install and integrate automation components.
• Program programmable logic controllers (PLC) – implement new functions and perform diagnostics.
• Maintain and update software used for PLC programming.
• Prepare programmable spare parts.
• Support the implementation of Smart Factory automation projects.

Required profile

• Higher technical or engineering education in electrical or automation fields.
• Experience with automation components and PLCs from Schneider, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi.
• Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Charts, Structured Text and Instruction List.
• Experience maintaining production electrical equipment (preferred).
• Basic English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to learn quickly, absorb information and work effectively in a team.
