POS Support Associate

About the role

Shift4 is seeking a POS Support Associate to help customers resolve point‑of‑sale system issues. You will work across multiple communication channels, analyze call logs, and provide logical troubleshooting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve POS system‑related problems for business clients.
• Analyze call logs to spot trends and underlying issues.
• Support customers via email, tickets, phone, tasks and chat in real time.
• Develop in‑depth knowledge of the software and equipment used by customers.

Required profile

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to develop computer skills and work flexible shifts, including evenings, early mornings and weekends.
• Experience in customer service or technical support is preferred.
• Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus.

Required skills

• Computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Networking basics.
• Software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with POS equipment, credit‑card terminals and registers.
