Presales Engineer – Splunk Solutions

About the role

Join Splunk, a Cisco company, as a Presales Engineer supporting the fast‑growing Baltic market from our Vilnius office. You will own the technical side of the sales cycle, demonstrating Splunk solutions, building trusted relationships, and helping customers turn data into business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate Splunk products and services on‑site, via webinars, and at field events.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
• Travel to prospects and customers to deliver technical presentations and onsite work.
• Answer complex technical and competitive questions, addressing customer concerns to a successful outcome.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to identify opportunities, drive discovery calls, and define next steps.

Required skills

• Experience with Splunk products and services.
• Domain knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, application delivery, business analytics, log management, observability, and IT security.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, ITIL processes, and monitoring/observability tools (SIEM, APM).
• Understanding of modern architectures (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless/Lambda).
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps concepts and programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP.NET, Ruby, JavaScript, Go.
