Pricing Analyst

About the role

As a Pricing Analyst at Johnson Matthey, you will help shape pricing strategies for a global portfolio of platinum group metal products and services. You will work closely with commercial, product, technology and finance teams to ensure the company captures value and drives profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and refinement of pricing frameworks across the product and service portfolio.
• Build, maintain and enhance pricing models, business cases and analytical tools for strategic decision‑making.
• Analyse pricing performance, profitability and margin trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain pricing reports, dashboards and KPIs that enable data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement pricing initiatives and support business objectives.
• Contribute to the pricing transformation by adopting new approaches, processes and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with a talent for turning data into actionable insights.
• Experience in business, financial or commercial analysis, including model building.
• Curious, inquisitive mindset capable of investigating issues and spotting trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to own projects and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Power BI for reporting and data visualisation.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• SQL for data extraction.
• Python (preferred) for advanced analytics.
