Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Specialist – Multilingual (Romanian/Hungarian/Polish/Slovak)

About the role

Cognizant is building a new international team to support a leading Austrian food and industrial products company. As a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Specialist you will ensure smooth end‑to‑end invoice processing, vendor management and payment execution while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely, matching them with purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues and vendor queries.
• Execute payment runs following established controls and procedures.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Participate in month‑end reconciliations, reporting and data‑analysis activities.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and support automation projects.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

Required profile

• Fluent in Romanian, Hungarian, Polish or Slovak (minimum B1) and good English (minimum B1).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Legally authorized to work in Lithuania without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Workday.
