Project Manager – Onshore Wind

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of onshore wind farm projects. This senior position is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning through to final handover to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Own the timely, high‑quality and cost‑effective delivery of wind farm projects.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including commercial, construction, electrical and logistics functions.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project planning and execution.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks and overall project performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, technical, regulatory and quality standards.
• Manage contracts, claims and optimisation measures.
• Prepare status reports, financial updates, risk assessments and management presentations.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Support sales and tendering activities with execution expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Previous project management experience in plant engineering, wind energy or the broader energy sector.
• Strong understanding of complex, multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, claims and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
• Very good English language proficiency.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
