Quality Engineer, Advanced Content Control Engineering

About the role

CUJO AI is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Advanced Content Control Engineering (ACCE) team in Lithuania. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability of Compass, CUJO AI’s event‑driven content‑control platform that operates 24/7 for operators worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality for the live Compass service, managing release readiness and regression scope.
• Define and evolve the test strategy across unit, component, integration, contract and end‑to‑end levels.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based test automation within the shared framework and keep CI suites green.
• Validate the plumbing of the system – Kafka topics, REST and partner APIs, OpenSearch indices, Redis caches, S3‑delivered rule releases and underlying AWS services.
• Plan, execute and analyse performance and regression cycles, providing capacity and design feedback.
• Reproduce and verify customer‑reported issues in collaboration with Product Operations.
• Collaborate across ACC Lab, firmware, OTM, data and product teams to ensure end‑to‑end quality.
• Communicate risk, open defects and mitigation plans to stakeholders and mentor colleagues.

• Experience working with 24/7 production services and event‑driven architectures.
• Excellent communication skills to convey risk and release decisions.
• Proactive attitude toward mentoring and sharing knowledge.
