Quality Engineer – Growth Team

About the role

As a member of Hostinger’s Growth Team, you will own the quality of the main user panel (hPanel). This product‑oriented QA role blends functional testing with automation strategy, ensuring that new features are reliable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain the quality bar for hPanel, improving delivery processes.
• Design, implement and maintain automated UI tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Perform functional and non‑functional testing, including API testing with Postman, Rest Assured or Swagger.
• Identify, log and track issues, collaborating with engineers to guarantee full resolution.
• Execute exploratory testing sessions across the organization.
• Design scalable test architecture aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Coach cross‑functional teammates (engineers, designers, PMs) on testing best practices.
• Mentor and coordinate other QE engineers, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a software QA engineer on web‑based applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Team‑player mindset with solid communication skills in English.
• Problem‑solving attitude and passion for quality improvement.

Required skills

• Basic programming knowledge (TypeScript is a plus).
• UI automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar.
• API testing tools: Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger or similar.
• Database experience with MySQL or equivalent.
