Record to Report (GL) Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Record to Report (GL) Accountant to join our General Ledger Accounting team in Vilnius. You will ensure accounting standards are maintained, prepare financial reports, analyse trends and provide clear narratives for period‑end closing and statutory filing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis and prepare commentary for close and period‑end reporting, supporting the preparation and filing of statutory accounts.
• Review monthly and quarterly balance‑sheet reviews and reconcile accounts in line with accounting policy.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies across all areas.
• Manage routine journals and create exceptional journal entries for balance‑sheet accounts.
• Handle direct and indirect tax reporting.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, including transfers and split‑asset processing.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of close & period‑end reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with finance and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• SAP proficiency or prior experience with SAP.
