Sales Associate – Luxury Retail

About the role

Join Holt Renfrew’s luxury retail team as a Sales Associate, where you will build lasting relationships with discerning customers and drive sales in a fashion‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary, personalized service to every client.
• Consistently exceed sales and service targets.
• Develop a loyal client base by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships.
• Attend product knowledge, vendor and Holt Renfrew educational sessions.
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and other sales support tasks.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email and other electronic methods about events, new merchandise and follow‑ups.
• Resolve customer service issues and collaborate with management on escalations.
• Adhere to health & safety, privacy and cyber‑security policies.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years of commission‑based luxury sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Active presence on social media platforms to promote personal fashion influence.
• Ability to use multiple technology channels to engage clients and drive acquisition.
• Proactive outreach to share curated merchandise aligned with client preferences.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging fashion trends.
• Broad product knowledge across all store categories and initiative to stay updated on new deliveries.
