Senior Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Accountant at BURGA, you will be at the core of a fast‑growing e‑commerce and production business. You will ensure the accuracy, compliance and efficiency of all financial operations while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow statements.
• Coordinate and facilitate external audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Process payroll and guarantee timely, accurate payments.
• Manage company treasury and optimise cash usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver financial reporting and analysis.
• Handle transactions with payment gateways, production accounting, and sales‑tax/VAT compliance for the EU, USA, Canada, Australia and Japan.
• Oversee customs procedures and packaging taxes in Lithuania and the EU.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a comparable role.
• At least 3 years of experience in e‑commerce or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of business accounting principles and tax regulations.
