Senior Accountant

About the role

ISS Lietuva is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead its finance team. You will be responsible for the overall financial management, accounting, and continuous improvement of financial processes within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and maintain the company’s bookkeeping, tax calculations and statutory filings.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process.
• Participate in month‑end closing, cash‑flow planning and group reporting according to ISS Group requirements.
• Initiate, optimise and standardise accounting processes, introducing best‑practice and efficiency solutions.
• Lead a two‑person accounting team, assign tasks, monitor progress and provide professional support.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or audit (experience in an international company is a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience managing an accounting or finance department.
• Proven involvement in process optimisation, efficiency initiatives and digitalisation projects.
• Experience preparing financial reports for management and external auditors.
• Strong command of English.
• Proactive, responsible and committed to continuous professional development.
