Senior Audit Assistant

About the role

EY is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Audit Assistant to join its dynamic audit team. You will work closely with clients across various industries and countries, providing insights that improve their financial performance while developing your own expertise in audit and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fieldwork and manage audit engagements, keeping senior leaders informed of progress.
• Execute audit procedures, document high‑risk areas and support reporting on revenue, financial instruments and income taxes.
• Coach and review the work of junior team members, delegating tasks and ensuring quality delivery.
• Engage with clients, offering professional advice throughout transactions.
• Stay updated on market trends and share knowledge to develop junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Experience in external financial audit and leading audit planning, execution and reporting.
• Degree in accounting, finance or a related business discipline.
• Strong communication and team‑management abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Knowledge of local GAAP.
