Senior Cashier – Full-time

About the role

IKEA is looking for a Senior Cashier to join its Kaunas store team. You will be the face of the store at the checkout, ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service at the cash register.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure the best possible solution.
• Process orders, issue receipts, and manage product returns or exchanges.
• Promote additional services such as leasing and product warranties.
• Operate cash, card, and POS systems, perform cash counts, and manage cash orders.
• Complete cash journal entries and various reports.
• Organise cash desk workflow within a sliding schedule (09:00‑21:00).

Required profile

• At least secondary education.
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent numerical and multitasking skills.
• Customer‑oriented attitude and ability to interact with diverse people.
• Previous experience in retail or cash handling.
• Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
