Senior Data Engineer – Threat Protection

About the role

Join the Threat Protection team behind the world’s most advanced VPN and help secure millions of users. As a Senior Data Engineer you will design, build, and optimise data pipelines that power our cybersecurity features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process and store data from various sources.
• Optimize and fine‑tune data processes for performance and scalability.
• Work on data modelling, ETL processes and datalake management to ensure data accuracy.
• Lead and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Actively participate in addressing data‑related issues.

Required profile

• Previous data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in modern languages such as Python, Scala, Go or Java.
• Experience with big‑data technologies and distributed data systems.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data integration platforms.
