Senior Fraud Monitoring Specialist (Fixed Term)

About the role

Join Luminor as a Senior Fraud Monitoring Specialist on a fixed‑term basis covering maternity leave. You will independently investigate complex alerts and cases of suspected payment and card fraud, using the bank’s anti‑financial crime systems.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate alerts and cases involving suspected payment and card fraud, analysing customer information and transactions.
• Make risk‑based decisions, determine appropriate actions and escalate when required.
• Maintain contact with units responsible for customer communication to gather activity information.
• Identify suspicious activity, prepare investigation summaries and coordinate escalations.
• Contribute to procedure development, quality improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.

Required profile

• University degree in law, economics, business management or related field.
• Solid experience in payment fraud prevention, detection or investigation within a regulated financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of payment and card fraud typologies, investigation methods and risk indicators.
• Ability to assess complex cases independently and justify decisions.
• Native Lithuanian and fluent English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Analytical skills for pattern identification across transactions.
• Knowledge of emerging fraud trends and regulatory developments.
