Senior Front‑end Developer – AI‑Powered Banking Products

About the role

Join the District GenAI squad at Danske Bank to build AI‑powered front‑end experiences for corporate banking customers and employees. You will create responsive, accessible interfaces that make complex GenAI features intuitive and trustworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible front‑end applications and components that expose AI‑driven features within the District platform.
• Implement UX patterns for streaming responses, conversational interfaces, citations, and human‑in‑the‑loop review.
• Write high‑quality TypeScript code, review pull requests and resolve complex front‑end issues.
• Collaborate with designers, back‑end engineers and data scientists to integrate LLM, RAG and agentic workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and accessibility standards in a banking environment.

Required profile

• Strong front‑end expertise with React, Angular or Vue and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience building production‑grade GenAI applications (chat, streaming, tool calling, RAG, file uploads, source citations).
• Understanding of AI safety, security risks (prompt injection, data exposure) and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary squad and translate complex AI capabilities into reliable user experiences.

What we offer

• Monthly gross salary from 4 960 € to 7 440 € based on competencies.
