Senior Frontend Engineer – AI‑enabled Health Platform

About the role

Flo Health is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the next generation of its AI‑powered health platform. You will design and deliver the core SDKs, reusable components and internal tools that power interactive surveys and dynamic content across the Flo app. The role combines deep technical work with close collaboration across product, design and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high‑quality user‑facing components and platform SDKs for survey and interactive experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to create flexible, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to and evolve Flo’s design system and shared UI libraries.
• Refactor existing codebases to improve performance, reliability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering modern web applications.
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
• Proven ability to work with AI coding agents as the primary development approach.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Testing frameworks such as Jest and Playwright.
• Object‑oriented design patterns and algorithmic problem solving.
• Experience with Contentful or similar CMS platforms (nice to have).
• Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics and BI integration (nice to have).
