Senior Frontend Web Developer

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Web Developer you will create user‑centric B2C web applications for ContiTrade, the agile trade organization of Continental. You will work with Adobe Experience Manager and modern JavaScript frameworks to deliver best‑in‑class solutions for our customers across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement frontend components and new features in Adobe Experience Manager and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or LitJS.
• Provide operational support, including bug investigation, issue resolution, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Lead agile ceremonies (refinements, sprint planning) and translate user and business needs into functional front‑end code.
• Create technical concepts during feature refinement and integrate AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
• Collaborate closely with external development teams and UX/UI designers to implement integrated technical solutions.
• Act as technical contact for internal and external teams to clarify integration topics.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology or a related field.
• Senior‑level professional experience in web development and frontend technologies.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); leadership experience is a plus.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
