Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance Centre of Excellence in Vilnius. This senior hands‑on position within the Record to Report function is responsible for high‑quality general ledger accounting, strong financial controls, and timely reporting across multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee month‑end close activities across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain and supervise SAP S/4HANA general ledger processes, including journal preparation, accruals, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policies while monitoring the internal control environment.
• Support statutory reporting and global audit processes.
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the R2R function.
• Collaborate closely with global finance stakeholders and mentor junior team members as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and R2R processes.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially IFRS, with solid SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Experience working in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
