Senior GL Accountant

About the role

We are an international company based in Lithuania, rapidly expanding and seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to own and deliver general ledger accounting for multiple entities. You will ensure accurate financial reporting under Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS while supporting the transformation of our accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver daily and monthly GL processing for assigned entities.
• Prepare accounts in accordance with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS.
• Support an efficient month‑end close process and continuously improve related procedures.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure clean accounting ledgers.
• Assist with internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a GL Accountant or Senior GL Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes.
• Familiarity with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Experience in a scale‑up or dynamic environment with a proactive, reliable approach.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
