Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Global IT Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Global IT Operations team. The role requires deep expertise in virtualization platforms, Linux systems administration, and enterprise infrastructure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and optimise enterprise virtualisation environments based on VMware technologies.
• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS clusters and virtual networking.
• Lead hypervisor upgrades, migrations, patching and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments and design Windows Failover Clustering solutions.
• Provide Level 3 support for Linux, Windows, storage, replication and networking issues.
• Implement security hardening, patch management and compliance standards.
• Maintain system automation, monitoring, alerting and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, cloud and application teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering supporting production‑critical environments.
• Proven experience with VMware virtualisation and other virtualisation platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Dell PowerFlex, Zerto and Windows Failover Clustering.
• Strong Linux administration and multi‑site, hybrid infrastructure background.
