Senior Project Manager – Fintech

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead Nasdaq’s global system implementations, guiding projects from initiation to successful delivery. You will operate at the intersection of technology, finance and client experience, working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, defining scope, planning milestones, managing resources and overseeing budgets.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
• Chair governance meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk logs, status reports and post‑implementation reviews.
• Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication and proactive engagement.
• Support and develop project team members in line with Nasdaq’s leadership principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance or a related field.
• 8 + years of project management experience in capital markets or financial services.
• Proficiency in both PMI and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
