Senior Record-to-Report (GL) Accountant

About the role

The Senior Record‑to‑Report (GL) Accountant will lead the accounting function for assigned legal entities, ensuring compliance with local statutes, BMI policies and international standards. The role also supports the Business Process Outsourcing partner and drives continuous improvement of R2R KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key R2R team member, resolving complex queries from accountants, finance partners and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and fix SAP/HFM process‑flow issues using a find‑fix‑solve approach.
• Monitor month‑end closing progress, enforce KPI targets and recommend control improvements.
• Serve as SME and single point of contact for intercompany, VAT, balance‑sheet reconciliations and other R2R processes.
• Coach and mentor R2R accountants, support audit activities and collaborate with BPO partners and other towers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven R2R (GL) accounting experience in a GBS or SSC environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Advanced understanding of ERP processes (SAP) and consolidation systems (HFM).
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
