Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS)

About the role

A Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS) is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using Node.js together with Angular or React. The role involves working with JavaScript/TypeScript, front‑end frameworks, databases and messaging systems throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑up meetings, and retrospectives.
• Developing and maintaining front‑end web components using React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Designing and developing software using NodeJS, GraphQL and other JavaScript frameworks and middleware.
• Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to team members.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
• Keeping up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong technical experience in both front‑end and back‑end development.
• Good knowledge of DDD design patterns, CQRS and clean architecture.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software on time.
