Senior Solution Architect

About the role

As a Senior Solution Architect in the Customer Communication Management Cloud team, you will shape the architectural direction for one of the largest banks in Northern Europe. You will work across multiple cross‑functional squads, set standards and define architecture for high‑volume banking products and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design application architectures and guide delivery in line with strategic roadmaps.
• Maintain a holistic view across solutions, systems and stakeholders, defining architectural patterns for development teams.
• Facilitate architecture and design sessions and contribute to hands‑on implementation across squads.
• Partner in backlog refinement to ensure cohesive solution design and continuously improve ways of working.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field; certifications such as AWS or TOGAF are a plus.
• Proven solution‑architecture experience at scale, with strong understanding of cloud technologies, standards and operational setup.
• Hands‑on experience with modern application development (e.g..NET and/or Java with Spring Boot) and microservices‑based architecture.
• Practical experience with domain modelling and Domain‑Driven Design (DDD).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and influence decisions.
