Software Engineer – Cloud Data & AI Agentic Workflows

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and optimise cloud‑based data pipelines and AI agentic workflows. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure and Fabric services, enabling the company’s risk‑assessment platforms to leverage emerging AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines and cloud solutions on Azure, Fabric Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2 and OneLake.
• Design and implement AI agent workflows using LangChain, Copilot Studio or Microsoft AI frameworks.
• Write clean, well‑documented code in Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure secure coding practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into software and AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines or AI workflows.
• Mentor team members on data engineering and agentic AI concepts.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of software development experience, preferably with cloud‑based data engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset, self‑learning attitude and good communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
