Supply Estimation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Estimation Specialist to join our Global Quotation Support Team. You will be responsible for estimating supplier lead times and cost information when this data is not readily available, enabling accurate sales quotations and delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret manufacturing drawings to estimate supplier lead times and product costs.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes, materials and supply‑chain requirements for accurate quotation support.
• Collaborate with tactical sourcing, engineering and other stakeholders to resolve estimation requests.
• Calculate end‑customer pricing using estimated or actual costs following pricing guidelines.
• Develop and maintain lead‑time and cost estimates that support sales quotations and customer commitments.
• Review estimation accuracy and identify opportunities to improve quotation quality and efficiency.
• Monitor quotation and estimation requests to ensure timely customer responses.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives such as technical support, price estimation and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply‑chain, engineering, manufacturing or a related technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical skills to assess costs, lead times and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
