Technical Support Engineer – Payments

About the role

Vinted is building a pan‑European payments platform that moves billions of euros each year. As a Technical Support Engineer in the Payments Business Unit, you will act as the bridge between product teams, external payment service providers and the engineering department, ensuring smooth operation of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for internal product teams, handling incidents, bugs and support tickets escalated to engineering.
• Monitor platform health using various observability tools, perform root‑cause analysis and drive resolution of issues.
• Communicate with external Payment Service Providers and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
• Define, document and own operational processes required for reliable service delivery.
• Escalate incidents according to established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of incident management.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose technical problems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with product, engineering and external partners.
• Proactive attitude and ownership of decisions in challenging situations.
