About the role

The position leads the Technical Department of a new modern plant being built in Marijampolė. The leader will define objectives, plan work, manage budgets and coordinate the technical team throughout the commissioning and operational phases.

Key responsibilities

• Set goals, plan tasks, budgets, shifts and competencies for the Technical Department.
• Represent the client during equipment start‑up, coordinating suppliers and contractors, supervising tests, acceptance, defect removal and training.
• Ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment, automation, energy systems and infrastructure.
• Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance systems, including CMMS, failure handling, downtime reduction and technical KPIs.
• Oversee spare parts, contractor relationships, warranties and CAPEX/OPEX for technical maintenance.
• Guarantee compliance with documentation, mandatory checks, LOTO, DSS, fire safety and environmental requirements, reporting to the managing director.

Required profile

• Higher engineering education (mechanics, electrical, automation, energy or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in technical maintenance or engineering projects, with a minimum of 3 years leading a technical team.
• Proven experience coordinating new production line commissioning and acceptance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, automation and infrastructure, with ability to read technical schematics.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance, failures, KPIs, budgets, spare parts and contractors.
• Understanding of DSS, LOTO, fire safety and safe equipment operation principles.
• Good English (minimum B2), solid IT skills and a B‑category driver’s licence.
