About the role

We are looking for a motivated researcher to join our team and help develop laser micro‑fabrication technologies while exploring new application areas. You will work on cutting‑edge glass and transparent material processing that drives future technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare models for production and create manufacturing recipes.
• Operate laser systems and handle various chemicals safely.
• Characterise test samples and document results.
• Maintain process and procedure documentation.
• Develop and improve laser micro‑fabrication technologies.
• Identify and investigate new fields of technology application.

Required profile

• Higher education in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or a related field.
• Experience with lasers and/or laser‑based material processing or material creation technologies.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to continuously learn.
• Optional: experience in metrology, quality control, or parametric modelling software.

Required skills

• Laser systems operation.
• SOLIDWORKS (or similar parametric modelling).
• AutoCAD.
