About the role

Lemona electronics, a leading distributor of electronic components and technological solutions in the Baltic region, is seeking a Chief Accountant to ensure financial discipline, deliver high‑quality reports on time, and contribute to the development and implementation of group accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, implement and control the company’s accounting system and develop accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely submission.
• Prepare and file tax declarations (VAT, corporate tax, personal income tax, etc.).
• Oversee related‑party transaction pricing, support group company accountants and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, social security institutions, banks and other external bodies.
• Advise management on accounting and tax matters.
• Initiate and implement automation and digitisation projects for accounting processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a chief accountant or in a comparable senior accounting role; experience in a corporate group or multi‑country environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian and international financial accounting standards, tax legislation and related regulations.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English; Russian language skills are a significant advantage.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities, decisive and accountable.
• University degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
