Accountant – Baltic Finance Shared Services

About the role

Join the Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre, an integrated team of finance professionals delivering consistent and timely accounting and reporting across the Baltic countries. As a member of the Baltic Accounting team you will help ensure efficient accounting processes, maintain high quality standards and support the digitalisation of accounting within SEB.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting tasks and month‑end closing procedures for the assigned area.
• Provide data required for financial reporting and handle communications with business stakeholders and external parties.
• Collaborate with the team on continuous process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Participate in Baltic‑wide accounting projects and contribute to internal policy development.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics or accounting with at least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, proactive and detail‑oriented, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good spoken and written English; effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in staying up‑to‑date with accounting and tax developments.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel
• Oracle Financials (experience considered an advantage)
