Accountant for SEB Germany Branch

About the role

Join SEB's Countries Accounting II Unit and support the SEB Germany branch and its subsidiaries. You will work closely with Global Finance teams, gaining experience across a rapidly growing digital organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
• Month‑end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks
• Follow processing and reporting deadlines
• G/L accounts reconciliation
• Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the team on continuous process improvements
• Follow internal controls of financial and reporting framework

Required profile

• Over 1 year of combined experience in accounting and finance
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a high degree of integrity
• Ability to multi‑task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
• A degree in a finance‑related area is an advantage
• Experience working with IFRS and local standards is an advantage
